1.Data Controller
The data controller is the head of the Notus project. For any questions regarding your data: hello@trynotus.com.
2.Collected Data
- Email address — provided voluntarily via the waitlist form.
- Timestamp — date and time of registration.
No other information is requested. No mandatory name, no phone, no profiling.
3.Purpose and Legal Basis
Your email is kept solely to keep you informed of the project's progress and the opening of pre-orders. Legal basis: your consent (opt-in via the form).
4.Retention Period
Your email is kept until you unsubscribe, or at most 12 months after the commercial launch.
5.Recipients
Your data is accessible only to the project owner. It is stored on our hosting provider's infrastructure:
- Hosting provider
- Hostinger International Ltd., a company established in Cyprus (European Union)
- Server location
- Paris, France
The distinction matters: the provider's registered office is in Cyprus, but the servers hosting this site and your data are physically located in France. Your data therefore does not leave French territory.
No third-party mailing tool is currently used. No commercial sharing, no reselling, no advertising use.
6.Transfers outside the EU
The hosting provider Hostinger is based in Cyprus (EU): your data remains within the European Union and benefits from GDPR protection.
7.Your Rights
In accordance with GDPR, you have the following rights at any time:
- Access — know what information we hold about you.
- Rectification — correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure/Deletion — be removed from the waitlist unconditionally.
- Objection — object to processing.
- Withdrawal of consent — at any time.
- Portability — retrieve your data in an open format.

8.Security
All communications with the site are encrypted (TLS). Data access is protected by strong authentication.
9.Cookies
No non-essential cookie is placed without your agreement. Consent is denied by default (Google Consent Mode v2): until you click "Accept" in the banner, no measurement or advertising cookie is written to your device. Declining is exactly as easy as accepting, no box is pre-ticked, and you can change your mind at any time through the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
If you accept, the site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure
traffic and the effectiveness of its advertising campaigns. The cookies placed
are _ga and _ga_0RZX04FWP7, lasting
13 months (the ceiling recommended by the CNIL), used to
distinguish visitors and measure audience. The controller for this processing in
the European Economic Area is Google Ireland Limited; transfers outside the
European Union may occur, governed by the European Commission's standard
contractual clauses.
Absent acceptance, or after a refusal, only cookies strictly necessary for the proper functioning of the site (admin session, security) may be placed.
10.Changes to this policy
This policy will be expanded upon commercial launch (user account, voice recordings, transcripts, payments). Any major changes will be notified by email to those on the waitlist, at least 15 days before coming into effect.
